Warden Law Kart Club - British Pro Kart Endurance Club We did it !! 6 hours driving a Senior Pro Kart !!! 360 laps. Youngest team on track. Only ALL girl team. 2 stints each, an hour at a time. Weighted at over 185kg. Slick tyres only - even in the wet. We kept it on track, competitive times every lap and finished 10th out 19 in class and 33rd out of 44 overall. Amazing effort and achievement from all three girls and the Dads of course. Pit stops might need a bit of work for next time though .....

An amazing, successful and most enjoyable weekend. Competitive from first practise, running with the British Championship contenders, all fighting for the prestigious E Plate and tickets to the Iame World Finals. Friday Practise was great fun - even though we were all melting in the 30deg plus temps. Saturday TQ was split into groups - I qualified 7th in group. 16th overall from 48 Heat 1 - P12. So so good to be back in the seat and racing at the sharp end after 12 weeks off recovering from a broken rib. P17 in the FINAL out of 38. A tough grid of British Championship contenders testing ahead of the next round, made my return eventful but enjoyable all the same. Definitely had the pace and determination for top 10 again, but a few incidents in every heat, meant I had to start towards the back of the grid - but I still made up ten tough places, even with a red flag half way through. 2024 Plans This year Katie has moved up to the full size chassis and race category Junior X30 under the watchful eye of the JADE RACING Team - competing in the age bracket from 12 to 16 years, both boys and girls compete on a level playing field and equal standing in karting. Iame Waterswift 950 Inter - 3rd Place Club Champion With 3 rounds dropped due to my wee accident in the middle of the season I still managed to secure 3rd place in the championship. Last run in the 950 chassis and not before time - as it was bit of a tight squeeze. The last round was extremely competitive and had I not been pushed off track in every race, by the same person I may well have finished a bit nearer to the podium, but my consistent results earlier in the season, allowed me to secure 3rd place overall in the Championship Special thanks to Jack Dex and Jaime [...]
