Katie started racing go karts in 2018 at the age of 6. In her first year on track she was runner up Bambino in both the Scottish Super Series and the Motorsport UK Scottish Championships and was recognised by the Association of Scottish Kart Clubs (ASKC) for her achievements. Since then, every year Katie has set her sights on improving her abilities, race craft and results, but most of all enjoying every lap in her kart.

Outside of karting Katie keeps fit by training hard with the Huntly Amateur Swimming Club twice a week and also practises Taekwondo, where the martial arts discipline helps her to focus and perform under pressure.

Katie is in her third year in High School and is working towards being able to attend the Motorsport UK Academy in Loughborough when she leaves school. Her ultimate aim is to be a racing driver, in the meantime, she is loving the journey that competitive karting brings to her.

Katie’s’ fun loving and infectious personality makes her a popular competitor in the UK karting circuit, both on and off the track and was voted Keir Miller  Under 13 Racer of the year in 2022.

Her indomitable spirit means you will always find her racing hard at the sharp end at every race.
