2018
Katie started racing go karts 2018 at the age of 6. In her first year she was runner up Bambino in both the Scottish Super Series and the Motorsport UK Scottish Championships.

  • Female Achievement Award from the Association of Scottish Kart Clubs. (ASKC)
  • Vice Champion – Scottish Super Series – Bambino
  • Vice Champion – Scottish Championships – Bambino

2019
Katie was selected to represent British Karting by Dare to Be Different at the British Formula One Grand Prix as a F1 Future Star, Grid Kid.

  • Scottish Open Bambino Champion

2020
Katie moved up to the Honda Cadets class, for 8 to 10 year old and began competing nationwide

  • Northern Karting Federation Championship – Vice Champion Honda Cadet.
  • Grampian Kart Club Honda Cadet – Vice Champion Honda Cadet
  • GKC Cadet Cup Winner – Honda Cadet – with the lowest points scored on the day.
  • Super One ‘O Plate’ Guest Entry Rowrah – 5th.

Super One is a long-established prestigious championship which runs with pooled engines and controlled tyres meaning racing is fair and even.

2021

  • Cumbria Kart Racing Club Champion – MSUK Honda Cadet
  • Grampian Kart Club Vice Champion – Honda Cadet & Cadet Cup two years running
  • Honda Cadet Champion – Bambino Kart Club Championship (BKC) – Guest Entry Rowrah

2022
Team – Ambition Motorsport. In 2022 Katie joined a competitive kart team for the first time

  • Ultimate Kart Championship – Micro Max Cadet – 6th overall
  • Super One Series ( 6/10 events ) – Honda Cadet 10th Overall
  • British Kart Championship – Micro Max Cadet 4th
  • Teeside Karting – O Plate champion Rotax Inter

2023
Team – Jack Dex Racing (JDR)

  • Downforce Radio – Keir Miller Under 13 racer of the year – Popular Vote
  • Teeside Winter Series – Champion – Rotax Mini Inter
  • Whilton Mill Kart Club Championship – 3rd Overall Iame Water Swift Inter
  • Winner – WMKC Round 6 July 2024 – Iame Water Swift Inter

2024 Jade Racing Team – Junior X30 Rookie Year 

Impressive progress despite injury, improving race craft and competitive pace.
